The drive controller with “SERCOS interface" used in a stage control system has been certified by TÜV.
The process interface system satisfies safety requirements due to the application of PROFIsafe modules in the PROFIBUS slave. The unit is designed as a SERCOS slave.
The drive controller has a modular structure. All necessary interfaces are integrated in the basic device. These include a bus interface, position sensor connection and set value outputs. The process interface system can be freely arranged as a modular PROFIBUS slave. Digital and analog signals can be coupled, additional position sensors and various measurement devices can be connected.
The system works with XC161 controllers and is programmed using tools such as µVision by Keil.
A statically linkable library is included in the bundle. This supplies all necessary system and resource access so that the user can focus on the application.
