deBSL 3000 is a software solution for the Infineon XC166 family. Established tools which require bootstrap mode can be used in an embedded system using this tool.
The advantage of this emulation is that the user can branch into bootstrap mode from his own application without hardware wiring or external reset of the microcontroller.
The loader is designed for an XC166 system with internal and external Flash. It allows the setup of communication with a PC application like a built-in bootstrap loader. This way tools such as FLASHit by hse-electronics GmbH can be executed.
