deKR16 features a 16-bit controller, various interfaces and can be freely programmed.

Its programming is customer-specific and can be developed in C then transferred via the serial interface.

In addition to its 16-bit Infineon SAF-C167CS with 20MHz microcontroller, the system has a real time clock, two independent CAN modules as well as two UART SC26C92 each with two serial channels. The interfaces can be configured as desired as RS 232, RS 422 and RS 485. Optional digital inputs and outputs are available.
All interfaces are galvanically separated.

The module is installed using top-hat rails TS 35
