You develop robust IEEE 802.15.4 radio networks with a lot of radio nodes and you like to know:

  • what happens if hundreds of radio nodes are connected simultaneously,
  • how long it lasts until the net topology is completely established,
  • how the net reacts in case of failure of nodes,
  • how reliable broadcast messages are,
  • how the behavior of the network is in case of interference in the frequency band,
  • how good the life cycle assessment of the network is.

These and further questions have been central element of the identically named research project. As result we have developed a test platform assisting you to simulate a sensor network of up to 1,000 nodes. With the gained knowledge you can make adaptations earlier and thus save important development time.
