The deRFarm7 module family combines compact design and high HF and processor performance. It’s especially suited for use in resource-hungry WSN devices such as routers and coordinators. The deRFarm7 family stands out with its integrated Ethernet MAC. Modules with few external components can serve as gateways between wireless 6LoWPAN networks and serve wired transfer.

The modules are available in versions with a U.FL jack or an integrated chip ceramic antenna. Because of the U.FL connection, the module can be installed in a metal case with the antenna attached externally. The pin-compatible version with a chip ceramic antenna is suited to small sensors and shorter distances.


All radio modules feature a wireless UART and are ready to use. Our modules are supported by IEEE 802.15.4 MAC and 6LoWPAN software stacks for your own developments. You can find more information about available stacks under Software.

It is possible to develop ZigBee applications in cooperation with dresden elektronik.


Our deRFarm7 radio modules are CE conform and, excluding version 15A00, certified by ETSI and the FCC, so they can be used worldwide.
